Chiron Health is a rapidly growing healthcare IT startup based in Austin, Texas. We have built a unique telemedicine platform that allows physicians to conduct routine follow up appointments with their existing patients over video chat (adjusting meds, reviewing lab results, etc). Think of us as a HIPAA-compliant Skype. In addition to the technology platform, Chiron Health provides regulatory and reimbursement support to strip away the administrative burden that makes telemedicine unrealistic for most physician practices today.

Chiron Health, a breakout healthcare technology company, is looking for an iOS developer to build a client-facing application that complements our patient application. You will be interfacing with the server side engineering team to perform integration against REST APIs and helping scale out our apps to serve patients across the country. This is not an entry-level position; we need to see examples of iOS apps you have developed!

Requirements

You love mobile, have a familiarity with mobile development environments and enjoy developing in an innovative, problem solver’s environment.
3+ years experience with iOS development.
You have previously built applications that have been published in the Apple AppStore.
Strong coding abilities and experience with Objective-C/C++/C, Cocoa Touch, Swift and iOS SDK.
Experience interfacing with REST APIs.
Passion for analyzing and improving run-time efficiency and memory footprint.
Knowledge of software development best practices including continuous integration, development of high quality code, reusable toolkits and libraries.

Bonus Points

Experience with WebRTC.
Good understanding of how web application backends are built.
Side projects or open-source contributions.
